PC Drainage Rope by SubAir Systems LLC is a 1″ fiberglass mesh rope with an inner stainless steel woven inner hose. The PC Drainage Rope is quickly installed under athletic turf and golf greens with a cable plow and a specialized hopper. The hopper drops sand or porous amendments on top of the PC Drainage rope to form a drainage column down to the newly installed rope. The rope wicks water to lower areas. A 6″ drop at the end of the rope creates a siphoning effect allowing the stainless steel inner core to siphon away water during heavy rainfall. Developed by Dr. Ed McCoy for the Ohio State athletic fields, PC Drainage Rope is easily and quickly installed in a non-destructive process.
